The Scientific Pursuit of Happiness, 8 August 2007

The Centre held at event featuring Social psychologist David Myers who is a communicator of psychological science to college students and the general public.

David's scientific writings, supported by National Science Foundation grants and fellowships and recognised by the Gordon Allport Prize, have appeared in two dozen academic periodicals, including Science, the American Scientist, the American Psychologist, and Psychological Science.

He is one of the leading psychology researchers in the field of happiness. 
He has written many articles and book chapters and has spoken to audiences across the world about this subject.

The event was held at the Merchant Hall in Glasgow and attracted an audience of over 100 participants from a variety of backgrounds.
