Babbity Bowster, 7-9 pm, 19th May 2014
The Centre is keen to start a discussion network of baby boomers. This includes anyone born between 1946 and 1964 or thereabouts. Professor Phil Hanlon will facilitate the network's discussions. The conversations will initially focus on this generation's legacy and how those present feel about that. But the discussion will also include what the future holds for this generation, how boomers feel about ageing and what plans they have.
We held the first meeting between 7 pm and 9 pm on Monday 19th of May, upstairs in Babbity Bowster in Glasgow's Merchant City. About 35 people turned up for what was a stimulating discussion. You can read some notes here.
We shall hold related events over the next year commencing in Autumn 2014.
