Scotland's Local Food Revolution: Postcards from Scotland event Wednesday 19th of June, 7.30 - 9.00 pm,
The Glad Cafe, 1006A Pollokshaws Rd, Glasgow G41 2HG.
Scotland's Local Food Revolution by Mike Small was published in the middle of May 2013 and is the fourth in the Postcards from Scotland series produced by the Centre and Argyll Publishing.
The book is not only a trenchant critique of Scotland's increasingly dysfunctional food system, it also highlights how much change is currently taking place and inspires readers to take action. Mike Small lists different things that individuals can do to shop and eat differently but the accent is on communities doing things differently.
Mike Small is the keynote speaker at this even.
Refreshments were available for sale in the cafe prior to the event.
The Chair was Professor Phil Hanlon.
