Postcards from Scotland

In its first year of operation, the Centre was given £50,000 of core funding from the Hunter Foundation. The Scottish Executive also pledged £450,000 of project funding over three years from 2005-08. This came from three departments – mental health, education and social services. The Centre has also been given sponsorship or financial support from a range of other organisations such as Scottish Enterprise, Alfred McAlpine Business Solutions, BT, Morris and Spottiswood and Clydesdale Bank. Additional income for the Centre comes from events or commission from other organisations to carry out research or undertake projects.

The Scottish Government now gives the Centre a small amount of core funding.  The Centre's additional funding comes from events, publications, sponsorship and projects.
